While working with the CIA, Evelyn gains a lot of trust and respect from all people including her boss, Ted Winter. Without notice, one spy from Russia comes into the CIA offices and offers the information that there is a plan to assassinate the president during his visit to attend the burial of the late United States Vice President. The spy also reveals the name of the hired assassin Evelyn Salt. Her CIA boss, Ted Winter cannot believe that Evelyn is a double agent but the actions she displays are seen to state otherwise.

In Pakistan, male journalism by the name Daniel goes missing. The wife, Mariane Pearl is forced to get on an uptight search mission of her lost husband. A day before the flight, Daniel has arranged to interview with one Islamic fundamentalist member of the clergy. They are all engaged in examining witnesses, retrieving emails, phone calls, and the hard drives. Though pregnant, Marianne is pretty much sober, undeviating and full of determination to find her husband.

Emerging the winner, Beowulf gets a crown as the king of that castle. Years later, the sins that were committed in the past are revisited, and Beowulf together with his entire kingdom are forced to face their flaws so that his heroism can arise again.
