She was the ex-wife of the ex-officer, Stephan Broderick, the murder suspect.
Amanda Broderick: Austin Shooting
Amanda Broderick was scheduled to meet her ex-husband when the shooting in Austin took place on April 18, 2021.
Along with her, the other two victims were Alyssa Boderick and Willie Simmions, both from Elgin High School.
The police arrived at the scene and tried to CPR the victims before they were pronounced dead.

The suspect was meeting his ex-wife for a scheduled visit to his son when he shot and killed all the adults.
The little boy was found near the area unharmed and was turned to APD.
Amanda Broderick Family and Children
Amanda Broderick was the ex-wife of the suspect, Stephan Broderick.
She had filed for divorce last June after a series of sexual assault claims were charged against the said man. He was arrested in June and was in prison for 16 days before he bailed out.
Later, Amanda Broderick also asked for a protective order for her family that forbids Stephan to go 200 yards within their daughter, Alyssa.
Stephan and Amanda Broderick had 2 children: Alyssa Broderick (adopted daughter) and their son.

She was born on July 17, 1985.
Likewise, Alyssa was 17 and Willie was 18 while the suspect, Stephan was 41 years old.

It was identified that Amanda Broderick was Hispanic by ethnicity, her daughter, Alyssa was also Hispanic while Willie was of Black ethnicity.
Stephan Broderick arrested
Stephan Broderick was arrested on April 19 at 7:30 in Manor after the police had received calls about a man walking along the road.
The police reported that the suspect had complied with them without any resistance or endangerment of further lives.
