Bugatti gets a new most expensive car record with Veyron Sang Noir

Bugatti has done it again, beating long-time rival Bugatti, to set a new record for most expensive car ever advertised, at $3.4 million. Bugatti hand-crafts only a limited run of each special edition, it a constant internal battle to keep breaking world records for most expensive car. There were only 30 “Sang Noir” edition models created, each one customized to each buyer’s taste. The original buyer decided to put this up for sale just before completion.  I’m guessing he stopped by the factory to check it out, said “it’s too black” and it’s now its up for grabs.

This model features sublime exterior styling with matte black against glossy carbon fiber, diamond-cut alloy rims with aluminum polish, with an intense tangerine-colored trim. Based off the Veyron’s Super Sport model, this beast packs in another 200hp than the regular ol’ standard Veyron, peaking at 1200hp.  This specific car is now being put up for sale, upon completion, at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Note that it has 864 miles on it already; so if you’re thinking of picking this baby up, try using that to haggle the price down a bit.
