Blippi is a fun educational YouTube channel mainly doing kid friendly content to help them learn colors, shapes, numbers, letters, alphabet and so much more. Its content consists of nursery rhymes, educational songs and education videos. The channel was created by a guy named Stevin John who started doing the writing, filming, editing and starring at the start. He now has a whole team to help him create the content. He is a former US Air Force serviceman. He has an estimated net worth of $60 million.

John started doing YouTube after he saw watch YouTube videos which were not of the best quality and he thought he could do better.

How Much Money Does Blippi Earn On YouTube

The channel has over 10 million subscribers as of 2020 and has accumulated over 8 billion views so far. It is able to get an average of 11 million views per day from different countries. This should be able to generate an estimated revenue of around $55,000 per day ($20 million a year) from the ads that appear on the videos.

His second channel Blippi Toys has over 6.5 million subscribers as of 2020 and has accumulated over 5.5 billion views so far. It is able to get an average of 4 million views per day and this should generate an estimated revenue of around $20,000 per day ($7.3 million a year).

YouTubers get paid $2 – $7 per 1000 monetized views after YouTube takes its cut. Monetized views range from 40% – 80% of the total views. All these are influenced by several factors like device played on, the location of the viewer, ad inventory, how many ads there are on a video, how many people skip the ads, type of advertisement, ad engagement, type of content etc. The cost of an ad view is based on an auction between advertisers based on views. Advertisers have to bid a minimum of $0.01 per view.

There is also a program known as Google Preferred where deep-pocketed companies can target ads on the top 5% most popular content. The ad rates here are higher than normal. Apart from ads, YouTubers also generate extra from YouTube Red viewers who pay a monthly fee to view premium content on YouTube plus watch videos without ads. Here they get paid based on watch time on their videos. The longer the viewers watch their videos, the more money they earn.

Blippi makes extra income through Amazon which stream his videos and selling merchandise through the same platform. His videos have been in the top 100 self published shows on Amazon for a number of months in a row. He also has a Spanish version of his channel which is able to get over 5 million views daily hence should be able to generate around $10,000 per day.
