Philip Champion, also known as “Hot Sauce”, was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and rose to prominence playing basketball on the first of the major streetball tours, the AND1 Mixtape Tour. The tour took off in 2002, and was subsequently featured on ESPN2 and other sports news outlets. Philip Champion competed on the AND1 Tour until 2004, then took a few years off, and returned to compete from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, he began playing for the College Park Spyders with the American Basketball Association. In 2012, he moved to playing with the Court Kingz. He stands at 6’1″ tall and weighs 190 pounds.
