Shalini Bathina

Shalini Bathina is an actress, producer, and writer. She has grown up in India and lives in Northern California. She started learning Kuchipudi at the age of 5. Kuchipudi is the form of Indian Classical dance. She performed 2 hrs solo dance Aarangetram at the age of 15. At the ceremony of her graduation, she started her dancing career.

Quick Facts:

She performed at a different school play at her high school. Shalini got to graduate from USC in Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and a minor in cinematic arts. She also studied at Oxford’s prestigious British American Drama Academy. Shakespeare, audition techniques, voice, and many more things she learned there. She says that was the best training she had ever done. In 2017 she gave her hit shows like Baby Daddy, Life In pieces, Ravens Home, and Greys Anatomy. She also produced short films like The Butter Knifes. It received the “Audience Award” “Best Comedy short” and “Jury Award”.

Ok, I know it’s been two weeks, but it literally took that long for me to feel normal again after an incredibly wonderful but exhausting three days. Plus, being off social media felt SO INCREDIBLE. But here it is. December 26th, 2018 💜 Married the love of my life. I have never been happier and it’s all because of this gorgeous human. I love you Ankit Patel, and I’m so proud to call you my husband. To be honest still not used to it. Was just getting used to fiancé and now you’re husband. I’m wife. Wiffy. WiFi. Anyway. You are everything to me. Everything. Thank you for all that you have given me. I’m beyond excited for our future together. Thanks to everyone who made it to our big fat Indian wedding (oho it truly was), for all the love, and for all the joy.
