I’ve been getting a lot of messages asking for the specific workouts I did with @nyledimarco during my last fitness challenge, so I figured I’d post them here in case you want to try them (swipe the pics above to see them all). For the 30-day challenge, I copied everything Nyle ate and did at the gym. He’d work out four times a week, each day corresponding with a different routine that’s highlighted above. Each week, the number of reps per set decreased by three (from 12–15 reps, to 9–11 reps, to 6–8 reps, and finally 3–5 reps). As my reps went down, the weight I used went up (this helped me build muscle). Obviously use whatever weight is safe and comfortable for you. Overall, I think this was definitely the most standard and practical fitness challenge I’ve done for BuzzFeed. I also saw some pretty visible transformations and definitely felt a lot stronger. Hopefully these workouts help with some of your New Year’s resolutions. Good luck!
