Another case of police brutality and racism unravels with the death of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn and the aggrieved family and friends are now protesting. 

Daunte Wright is yet another victim of color. He was driving to a car wash when he was pulled over because he had air fresheners hanging on his rearview mirror. 

He had been shot before he re-entered his car and drove for a short distance before he crashed. The body of the victim had been left on the streets for 6 hours.

The family and friends of Daunte Wright have started protesting for justice. The protesters were also attacked with flash bombs and tear gases.

Daunte Wright Age and Family

Dante Wright was just 20 years of age.

He was killed yesterday afternoon on April 11th.

He was driving to a car wash and had called his mom to inform her that he was pulled over for having air fresheners on his rearview mirror before 2 pm.

Daunte’s mother and family later shared on a Facebook live that her son had been killed for the very reason.

Already as heartbreaking it is, the young man had a daughter waiting for him home

 Daunte Wright at 20 was already a father to his recently turned 1-year-old daughter.

Daunte Wright Warrant

Brooklyn police reported that they had an outstanding warrant against Daunte Wright and had tried to take him under custody.

According to them, the young man tried to run away after they had brought him out of the car, and in retaliation, the police had shot them.

A large crowd gathered around the Brooklyn police department on Sunday night and demanding justice.

April 11, 2021, on Sunday afternoon before 2 pm, Daunte Wright had been shot and died and his body was left on the streets for 6 hours

Relatives and friends have gathered around the Brooklyn Police department protesting while riot teams had arrived at the scene in gear.
